Event: Lanwar
Tourney Times:
Saturday 2:00pm to 8pm
Location:
Bracket
Type: Single elimination
Game Notes
This tournament is being held in the
“BYOC” section of the event. As such, it is a play-at-your-own-risk tournament.
If any prospective player feels uncomfortable about participating in the
tournament, it is their responsibility to decide whether or not to join the
tournament. It is not the responsibility of the staff to accommodate every whim
and preference of each individual participant.
Rosters
All
team rosters are established during the registration period prior to the start
of the event. Changes to team rosters may take place during the registration
period. Teams are required to have the minimum number of members required to
play a match to be considered. For MML, the minimum number of players is FOUR
(4) per team.
Game Start
Times
Brackets
and match start times will be available and updated throughout the tournament
by the Admins. If you have questions, contact the tourney admin for more
information.
Players
should ensure that they are in the dedicated server on time and ready to begin.
Game times will be posted in the Hall. Teams have Ten (10) minutes after the
agreed upon (or default) time to join the server. After Ten (10) minutes have
passed, both teams must have the minimum allowable amount (4) players each in
the server. Forcing a team to wait for players is disrespectful and
unsportsmanlike. If a team is unable to field at least the minimum number of
players within ten (10) minutes of the start time, they will forfeit the match.
If needed, players should have their input devices reset and systems rebooted
before their start times.
·
Each team must have a team captain.
·
Only the team captain can register a team, modify a team, or
remove a team from the on-line tourney signups.
·
Team captains must ensure that all players on their team
have read and follow these rules.
·
Each team must have 5 players.
·
Each team can have 2 alternates.
·
The entire team roster must be picked in advance before

·
Tourney staff may not compete in the tourney.
·
All players should be connected to the appropriate tourney

the tourney desk, your team will be disqualified.
·
If team captains cannot decide who will be CT or T first, a
coin toss will decide who is counter-terrorist and who is terrorist.
·
Team captains must report their win or loss.
·
Tourney
matches will not be held up due to personal computer problems.
·
If a player on your team is unable to play, the team can
choose to play with four people.
·
We will make attempts to prevent matches from coinciding for
players playing in more than one tournament.
If a player has two matches at the same time, they must forfeit out of
one of the tournaments.
·
The tournament bracket is seeded randomly by the Lanwar
Tourney staff.
·
After a player has died, the player must not communicate to
other players on their team until the entire team has died.
·
All team members must already be in the appropriate
tournament server at the match start time.
·
Any complaints with the match must be voiced calmly and
professionally to the Tourney Director IMMEDIATELY. If you don’t voice it then, you will have
missed your chance to notify the tournament staff. All complaints will ruled upon by the Tourney
Director promptly. The Tourney
Director’s decision is final.
·
Any team caught cheating or even pretending to cheat will be
disqualified. This includes, but not
limited to, wallhacks, aimbots, crash scripts, etc.
·
Match times will only be moved because of an internal
problem with the tournament. We will not
move your match time because you forgot to use the bathroom ahead of time, or
because you need to go to McDonalds because your mommy forgot to spoon feed you
that morning.
·
By playing in this tournament all players agree to abide by
these rules.
·
Each player gives full rights for Lanwar, Inc and its
sponsors to use the player’s name, likeness, photographs, video, or electronic
